The Assignment

Your assignment is to write an essay explaining your favorite family tradition. What is your tradition? When do you do this tradition? Why is it your favorite tradition?
First you need to understand what a tradition is. A tradition is something done or performed again and again through the years and sometimes throughout generations. It can be a big holiday like Christmas or something smaller like a small family tradition. For example, going to a certain each place each year with family.
